I have a small network (26 PCs running XP Pro) and a server running NT4 and Exchange 5.5.(soon to be 2, phew!)
As the server is a long way from my office, I would like to run backups from an HP DAT40 attached to my PC (we use Backup Exec 8.6).
I know that a tape drive can't be seen as a share but does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in anticipation.

Nope, my understanding is that BE MUST be on the machine that has the tape drive/library.
