OK ... you got some HW errors, but ... do you have some problem on software accessing this array of yours (i.e. some Oracle-DB2-Sybase-whatelse errors)?

i dont see any hw errors on my side,if i looked at the storage manager logs.. no logs were recorded there. I have run the batch program and then upon running, no error reflects, however, after few hours only that it prompts to error... this is a new configuration.. any idea?thanks for the reply

Uhm ... looks like a transient problem, not a permanent one.
Does it happen often or ... just once?

it happened quite often,, last few days but then i have reconfigured it yesterday ( the fast600 ) and now... prompted once so far..what could be the cause? any idea.. just want to resolve just incase it happened again.thanks.. and i want to understand what happened.

Dunno ... try to see if under diag there are some interesting panel ....
