I need help again, we got the minda virus, I upgraded our MC Afee Virus program, I cleaned the server but it still tried to come in, so I used the removal tool from symantec, and finally got rid off the virus. BUT now none of my computers are able to get on the network, it says netlogon server2 not accessible.
My server is working fine, but none of the PC;s can log on.
any ideas, PLEASE RESPOND QUICKLY, WE ARE A COMMUNITY TRANS PLACE AND WE CAN NOT SCHEDULE ANYONE.
thanks

I am sure that this is not the answer you were looking for, but I read an article that suggested you reformat your computer if you got hit by this virus. It attacks so many files and applications, you may end up with corrupted files that can't be repaired by the antivirus software.

Part of the "fix" that Symantec does w/ Nimda is it "removes" ALL shares on the target machine. If you happen to run this on an NT Server, the NETLOGON share will be removed. Please consult your NT manual :) to restore this.
