I have encounted an issue lately where by the self test of APC UPS's is causing a linux server to shut down.

The self test is for around 15 minutes, but within 8 minutes without power.

The linux partition is running on an IBM System I - we have verified that that isn't the problem.

Is there a command and/or parameter that I can set in linux to change the power setting to say 20 minutes instead of 8?

Thanks
