I created a new domain called local.domain.com. Created a upn called "domain". I can log on to the dc with domain\administrator ok. Created a new user: user1 and try loggin on as domain\user1 but get an error that user/password is incorrect. I am howerver able to use user1@domain. Is there way to set this up to use domain\user1?
