Whenever I upload my page to the net, all my pictures and links are in different positions than in my frontpage browser. I am using no positioning, and created a layer for each picture/link. Is this the right thing to do? Or should I use absolute positioning, or should I put my pictures in their own tables? I cant figure out this annoying problem, please help. Here is the URL of my page. Thanks so much.

I prefer tables for layout, I know the CSS gang will shoot me down in flames for using this 'old technology' but at the end of the day I need layouts which work.
I use CSS for formatting but the positioning side of things can cause you sleepless nights.
IMO - The banner ad does you no favours at all, just my pet hate on the web. I do not understand why designers set out to distract their customers from their products and services.

Keith, I absolutely agree. I use tables for layout and CSS for formatting.

I also recommend avoiding layers. If you don't know what you're doing, layers - and absolute positioning - will lead to just a mess. You don't need either one. What you need are tables.

Tables for layout!
