We use a terminal server for out of office staff. On occasion I need to shut the server down for maintainence, but still want to give our people the opportunity to access information from the database via the web (secured website) in case they need to look up phone numbers or information while the server is down.
I am envisioning that prior to shut down, I would "upload" the current database to the website. They would not have the ability to enter or change data--only view it (and that's OK).
Does Access have a feature to turn the database into a web friendly (?) thing that would still retain the structure and codes within the database.
Not sure I stated that properly--but hopfully you get the idea.
