I want to upload the ios 6.2 in our pix to our central tftp server.
with this command :

PIXFirewall# copy capture:flash tftp:10.0.0.1
ERROR: capture <flash> does not exist.
usage: copy capture:<capture-name> tftp://<location>/<path> [pcap]

where is the problem ? what other then the word &quot;flash&quot; i should write ?

thanks

The capture command is related to capturing packets as they go through the PIX firewall. Using it with the copy command will send the contents of the capture to the TFTP server. As such, it has nothing to do with sending the PIX OS image to the TFTP server.

At this time, there is no way to copy the OS image from the PIX to TFTP. Your best bet is to purchase a Cisco SmartNet contract, which allows you to download the OS binary from their site.

Thanks,
i have trid this:

#tftp-server 10.0.0.1 test
tftp-server outside 10.0.0.1 test
Warning: 'outside' interface has a low security level (0).

But i am in same network as the outside interface of th epix is there a way to do it ?

I have made those command, copy to an inside tftp serrver, but this command copy juste the config of the pix not the IOS!

Is this possible (copy IOS pix to tftp server) or it's impossible ?

thanks
