i want to start off with thanking Remou and PHV for their help.

hi my name is jameel, and i am doing a library database for my school, i have a problem that i need hel with

ok, so first i added a new field to my database table, this field enables me to add pictures to each record in my database, the type field is set as OLE object, to add any picture i simply copy any picture from the internet and then past it in the picture field in the main table, now the problem is that i want to make a command button that will browse for pictures with JPG format in my computer and add them to a related record in table-based form, i searched the internet and found a module code, the code worked but when i press on the pciture to add, the browse button does not add the picture, i hope anyways have a solution to my problem

i attached a sample database to show you what i mean, i also added the module code and the browse button to the attached database

any help will be really appreciated
thanks in advance

library database for my school" Hope your not a student. This isn't a site for students.

You do not store images in an Access database. It'll extremely bloat the database. An image, at least, is a mb. Do the math.
