HI,

I am wondering if anyone knows how I could upload a file from a clients system. I already have a webclass, but the webhost will not allow me to install the webclass. Can I open a common dialog or file browser without a webclass.

The final result actually needs to upload the image and enter a record into a database. The record entry is no problem, but I need to upload the image and change it's name to match the record ID. I suppose I could always use Java.

Thanks

WHy don't you see if the server already has ASPupload or SAfileup installed, then use one of them?

I don't blame the webmaster for not installing a component, but if they won't then they should provide one for you to use.

My experience is that most do.
