upload/download video files

Hi,
I have not done this before, can anybody guide me how to write a php script for uploading and downloading of video files.
Is it any different from simple upload and download of files in php.
Also I want to give users the option to either view the video files online or download and video files and view them on their machines.
Appreciate any help.

Should be similar, will be slower because of size, and may require tweaking of php.ini, because of file sizes, partic. upload_max_filesize
