Upload csv file to 3300

Can anyone tell me the procedure of uploading a csv file to the directory form and the speed call form?

Once you are logged on to the VXTarget telnet session you can view the details.Will Procomm Plus send a file to populate these forms in one go?

you would have to create your own procomm script. the 33oo does not support uploading of files for programming. Only thing is wav files in 5.1 for voicemail and MOH.

You can use procomm plus to telnet onto your system, once logged in (as if you were connected to a SX2000 system)go to the directory menu or the speedcall menu.
On procomm plus the top left script file change from STARTUP and select telcount, if you have this installed in your procom plus file.
Have your excel document open and minimized then click on the start/stop script and enter the excel name ie; directory (case sens)this will then ask you for the cell number and row number enter as required. this should do the job?

Remember this is throught the back door and when engineers do a new install should change the default username (INSTALLER) password (SX2000)most engineers do not do this,

And doing this could potentially corrupt your 3300 programming and is not supported by Mitel. I've had tech's say that they've programmed entire systems from telnet (old 2000 tech's that don't understand this "IP stuff") without troubles, but use telnet at your own risk on a 3300.
Hell, Product Support doesn't even want us checking programmed reboots or dbms status from a telnet session, they want it all done from a ESM window, there has to be some reason for this...

I've been installing and programming 3300's for 4 years, I was one of the first engineers in the uk to do the course and was taught on this course how to program through the ESM window and Telnet.
A year later Mitel advised to not program via telnet (This was down to old SX2000 engineers) programming entire systems this way and did currupt systems, to which Mitel had no explanation.

The only programming i do via Telnet is Username and Password changes (For security reasons) and Directory and speedcall uploads, There's no way i'm spending 3 days programming 3000 speedcalls into the 3300????
