upgrading

hi

here i need to upgrade windows nt 4.0 (service pack 6) to windows 2000 server.

currently installed with dhcp server, iis 3.0, proxy server, sql server 7.0.

hardware : p111 550 mhz processor, 10gb hdd's -2 (disks mirrored), 512 mb ram.

if i upgrade to windows 2000 server does my sam database will remain the same? am i able to share the internet with the same proxy.

and one more thing, it has trust and trusting relationship with another windows 2000 server from where the users logon to sql server 7.0

Can you confirm if the server is a BDC or PDC?

You will need to upgrade your PDC first. That way it will not destroy your SAM... Peter Van Eeckhoutte
