I currently have an x235 server, single 2.8GHz processor, 6GB RAM and 2-73GB HDD's mirrored running Windows 2003 Standard. We are out of drive space and I wanted to install a SR6i controller and run a full load of HDD's in RAID 5. My question is: Can I do this without having to reload everything? My thought is this:

>Install SR6i controller and load drivers in current Win2k3
>Perform complete backup of current installation
>Remove mirrored drives
>Install 6 new drives
>Use ServerGuide to install fresh load of Win2k3 on new RAID 5
>Perform restore of system

Will this work? Is there something that I am overlooking? Is there another way? Or am I doomed to a complete reload?

Thanks in advance.
