Make sure that your download proccess be free from errors.
when you download the tar file just type
#tar xvf vfs505.tar
that will left on that direcory mane images in the form of VOL.000.000 and so on ...
then use the custom command to install the software giving the installation media as MEDIA Images and tell the directory on which are the VOL.000.00? files
if you file downloads fine that will install right.
