When upgrading to PhoneManager 2.1.12 from 1.3.10 the following error msg appears: “Your license on the switch has been changed to Pro. The applications has been reconfigured.”
We have upgraded your 'Ford Edsel' to a 'Rolls Royce Bentley' - that's not exactly an "error message".
Seriously, this sometimes appears if the IP Office temporarily loses licence validation. Its starts the Phone Manager as PM Lite and when the licence is validated again changes the program to PM Pro.
This message appears everytime we start phone manager on the workstation that has been upgraded. is there any way to correct it other than completely uninstalling the old version and installing the new one?
What Intrigrant is saying is that (in common with all the IP Office software) the only proper way to upgrade is to deinstall the old and then install the new.
