HELP!
We are in the middle of upgrading from Decision Stream 6.5 on a WIN NT server to DS 7.0 on a WIN 2000 server.

We opened the current production catalog on the NT server, choose "Backup Catalog" and saved it to a network drive.

Then we opened that same catalog from DS 7.0 on the new server. We performed the "Upgrade Catalog". It looks a little different - in th JobStreams section, there are more jobstreams...it looks like it took all the sub-jobs and made them the same level as the job streams, but with path names -- ie, "ALL_TIME_J" in v6.5 had a sub-job "ALL_TIME_SJ" that was nested under the job stream and you had to expand the tree to see it. NOW, in V7.0, There are 2 job streams listed at the same level: "ALL_TIME_J" and "ALL_TIME_J.ALL_TIME_SJ", etc. WE modified all the Connections to point to the new server....except the "CREATE_CONFIG" connection. We can not locate the config.def file...not even on the production machine, so we are guessing that this connection is not truly being used.

But the job does not run. According to the logs, it seems to be having a problem reconciling functions and variables...even though these all exist and are defined in the same places and ways as in the current 6.5 production version.
WEe ahve tried several of the Jobstreams, and they all get an error on the same variable.

Has anyone else had this problem and gotten past it ??

Is there possibly something during the Upgrade process that we are missing that you need to set so everything reconciles properly ?

Please Help !
