Upgrading to BO Ent Xi - NEED HELP

Hi

We are doing two things in this one project. We bought a new higher spec server for deployment of BO Ent Xi, and will then migrate the CE10 environemnt over to the new Xi server.

I am currently reading through the installation material and some issues is a 'bit' confusing. Firsly, is there a standard out the box replacement to e-portfolio? What is this written in (as opposed to CSP) as we would like to re-brand? And what exacly is the Business Objects .net SDK (Is it e-portfolio's replacement)?

Infoview is the new e-portfolio. Mine is in .net. However the installation of CE asks what development languages you want to use. I don't know if you get java version of infoview if you select java

The .net sdk is the software development kit for CE. This gives you the .net controls for you to create your own .net pages that interact with CE. For instance custom versions of the infoview.
