I need to replace a old drop and insert CSU with a new 120A4 ICSU. The circuit involved is a DS1/PRI on my definity. We are running release 11.1.3! I'm sure this doesn't matter, but the DS1 pack is a TN 464F

Can anyone out there tell me the proper sequence (include commands) to disable a PRI,unseating the TN 464, reseating, and then enable the PRI back into service.Or maybe an Avaya support link that would have this info. I have seen the install notes to install the CSU,It talks about removing the TN464 while installing the ICSU. I'm concerned that i wont restore the PRI in the right sequence.

Thanks in advance,

Greg

The board needs to be removed before touching the CSU. Do not unplug the CSU with the board still inserted. Busy the board, unseat the board, replace the CSU, reseat the board, release the board. You may need to busy and release the board once more to get it to settle down.
