I've got an IT guy who wants to upgrade the virtual server his customer's VM Pro is running on from Win 7 to Win 10. Do any of you see any issues or got-yas with that, or is it no different than any other OS upgrade? I'm inclined to tell him to build a new virtual server at Win 10 and I will install VM Pro and copy the .mdb file and contents of the Greetings, Names, and WAVs folders over to the new server.

Thoughts??

Thanks in advance to all that respond

Everything we install new on Windows is 10 and don't have any problems. We have also been migrating old Windows 7 as well without issues.

Just make sure you get Windows 10 pro and not home. I have seen some issues arise with home editions of OS and Voicemail Pro (home edition OS sucks tbh).

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
