Hello!

We're currently running version 6.1(12) on our IP 500.

We have a delightful mixture of Avaya 1608/1608-I, 4610SW and 5610SW phones strewn around our office. I'm considering upgradering the central to this (6.1(22)), since we have quite a few issues with our 1608-phones.

Would it require any new licenses or the like? Is there anything I need to be careful about?

Thanks!

No new licenses needed, but make sure the phones can reach new software files.
If you have a 500v2 chassis, I would format and recreate the SD card with the R6.1.22 Manager (because chances are it's of an early production, and they had issues)

Kind regards

Gunnar

On the rhs of the website there's a 'related documents' folder. That contains the TB that shows what bugs were fixed and what new features were added. You need TB137. Check a few TBs before this too until you get back to your current release.

You won't need a license for your IP Office release, but certain features become unavailable over time. PMP for example.

Thanks guys!

I'll read through the documents!
