upgrading software on a 0X32

is there a way to load 7.1 to a KSU without the upgrade tool KSU is rls 4

The question is then do you want to loose programming and start fresh?
This would be like doing a nice fresh install of Windows.

Otherwise no you need the tool to keep the programming.

So if yes and want to start fresh then do the following...
Unplug Power cord
Plug power cord back in
Do Feature**STARTUP
Enter the config password
Go through the motions and when it states Applying Template, wait about 15 to 20 second then unplug the power cord
Remove NVRAM cartridge with the PCMCIA software
Install the new NVRAM with the new PCMCIA software
Plug power cord back in and wait for it to do it's thin then program away.

**Make sure your new NVRAM is Release 2.

Go to 4.1 > 6.1 > 7.1 by power down, swapping software card, powering up each time. Bit of a pain but can be done.

What he means is you can use actual software cards to upgrade in place of the tools.....I was under the impression you didn't want either method.
