We are upgrading our various different versions of Office to 2003 Professional and I now need to upgrade the XP version on the Citrix server.

Since it is already a published application, do I just do a standard installation as with any other machine or do I need to do something in Citrix e.g. redirect the program folder location? Republish??

Thanks for any help.

DMoll,
I would use the Office Resource Kit to install your Office 2003 applications. This gives you the ability to create Outlook profiles, change paths in the "start up" location and default location.

On your published application...make sure you are pointing to the proper .exe. Microsoft likes to change the actual paths to the .exe's in different versions (ie...c:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office10 for 2000 and Office11 for 2003). So if you have a MS Word 2000..its pointing to the Office10 folder where in MS Word 2003...it will be pointing to the Office11 folder.

Hope that helps.
