Has anybody found how to in the docs or done a 3300 upgrade to a controller that’s in a DLM group? The app record you sync to could have less licenses than are programmed in the database as it got it’s licenses from the pool rather than its own app record.
I’ve had a look through the release notes, THB and help. The all say for the licensing bit, simply enter the app record for the controller. Nothing about DLM.

I suppose if the app record does have fewer licenses than is programmed it’ll go in to license violation until you sync from the DLM, but what about the licenses that can’t be over allocated such as ACD active agents??

Thanks

I have not done this but there is no harm in running the Software Installer tool and directly observing what happens to the licenses without actually starting the upgrade.

The SI tool does detect this OK. (From memory) Just upgrade as you would normally do.
The ARID and GARID are used to verify licensing.
