Upgrading MAS to 7.1 from 2.2

Hello all,

I was wondering if we could install MAS 7.0 on a system and restore a backup from 2.2? I am in a disagreement with a coworker on this and we are unable to call Mitel at this point.​

If you want to rebuild everything and not maintain the DB then you can do whatever you want.

If you want to maintain the DB you must upgrade in Steps

[ul]
[li]From 2.2 - 3.0 (I believe this step requires a software option on the AMC)[/li]
[li]From 3.0 - 4.0[/li]
[li]From 4.0 - 5.0 (or 6.0) - The Nupoint ports at this step need to be converted to trusted licensing[/li]
[li]From 5.0 (or 6.0) to 7.1[/li]
