Hi all. Can somebody point me how to upgrade loadware of MGC. I downloaded 6 loadware files of MGC from ESPL site and tried to load these files through Element manager
Software--->Upload file but it pop an error that the file syntax should not conatin /, \, % etc and file extension must be mc32s etc...
I ahve access to PDT but done know what command to run to upgrade MGC.
Any help
Regards.

I have never done it in element mgr but to do it from pdt you can...
1. Download MGCCADXX.LW file from MPL library
2. Copy this Loadware file to a compact flash card
3. Insert the compact flash card into CPP-M call server faceplate
4. Log into pdt2 shell
5. Copy MGCCADXX.LW from compact flash card to the directory ‘/u/loadware’
cd/u/loadware
cp cf2/mgccadXX.lw (cf2 is compact flash card)
6. Load the Loadware patch
lwload mgccad46.lw
7. Insert the Loadware patch
lwinst 0 (0 is patch handle number)
8. Select SEQU (Sequential) or SIMU (Simultaneous) download to MGC.
SIMU is a faster way if the system is not in service.
9. The system will download the New Loadware to all MGC.
10. Wait for all the MGCs to complete.
