HI,
I HAVE A BC11/SP12 AND USE WINFIOL OVER ETHERNET
WHO SAY TO PUT THE FILE *.LIC INTO HDU?
I MUST USE V24 ?
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I UPGRADE THE LICENSES.
THANKS.
To transfer license use any FTP program or Internet Explorer.
If You use FTP program connect to IP NIU address
If IE ftp://xx.xx.xx.xx where xx.xx.xx. is an IP of NIU.
User name and password are this same as You use to connect over Win Fiol.
Then copy License file to directory //USR1/SES/LI

but Ericsson customer care have told me to also do this way:
Once that the system is loaded it needs to predispose the everything for the loading of the Licenses in the following way:
IOIFC: IODEV=TELNET,PROC=XMODEM;
to create a directory sul'HDU
FIDIIATH = / SYSN/USR1/SES/LIC;
To predispose the system for the transfer of the file 15-1234 ENCs in XMODEM
You are asked: ….
WHO SAY TO PUT THE FILE *.LIC INTO HDU?

My answer :No, you don't must use v24.
You have connection with MD over Ethernet but parameter PROC=XMODEM is for V24 port valid only
IOIFC: IODEV=TELNET,PROC=XMODEM;
Before creating new directory check existing patch
FIDAP: PATH = / SYSN/USR1/SES/*.* I'm sure that directory LI or LIC exist.
After transfer license to HDU but before LIDAI check and read new license using command
LIDFP ATH= /SYSN/USR1/SES/LI/xxxx.yyy where xxxx.yyy is license file name.

but with winfiol 5.2 there is a tool in the run's menu to do this, however i didn't know what it existed.
I thought that someone had already used it.
The Ericsson custmer center have told me so but I have not tried to use it yet.
In every case if I will try first as you say you and then as they say and then I know you to say as you has gone,
meanwhile thanks for the precious suggestion and excuse me for my "english".
