I anted to upgrade this unit from analog lines to a PRI. What is required as far as licensing and hardware. For example if you are adding a PRI to a Nortel MICS or BCM ( which I ma use to working on ) you would have to either add license keycodes or an expansion bay and then add either a DTI or MBM card etc.. Is there a PRI license keycode required within the IPO 500v2 7.0 or do I just need an available bay insert the card and plug in the PRI from the telco and program my lines and assign them etc.?

You will need an available base card to mount the PRI Daughter Board to. The card comes with 8 Active Channels. You will need to lic out the other 16 to get a full circuit.

If the user is not planning to use Mobility features you can use a Legacy Card Carrier with a PRI UNI Trunk Daughter Card which does not require any licenses. The other option is to use one of the new V2 Card Carrier with the PRI UNI Trunk Daughter Card which comes with 8 channels but you would need to buy the PRI licenses for more channels if you have all 24 in service.

Thanks for the information. They have a call center and that dispatches couriers. Believe it or not they actually are still using written paper tickets. Does the IPO offer any Call Center ticketing applications that would for example populate a screen with the incoming caller ID name, number, timer date, etc and allow tickets to be made and tied into the customers telephone number. Or maybe just some interface that will send CID info that would pop up on their displays. I am thinking anything to get them off of little slips of paper. I did not know if the IPO offers this features or what it is called. Thank you
