Upgrading imac flatscreen

I'm thinking about getting one of the new imacs. I was wondering what is upgradeable and what isn't. Can I replace/upgrade the hard drive or motherboard?

Apples use IDE internal hard drives, like most desktops, and the RAM can be replaced with larger sizes.

Historically, someone figures out how to upgrade the CPU about the time it does not really matter. I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
