We are currently upgrading our estate to Windows 2003, and some of the servers we don't want to leave behind include our EVA Management Appliances.
HP always tell you not to mess about with the OS on their Management Appliances, but we all know that it is basically a Win 2000 Advanced Server box running the MS Server Appliance Kit.
My first question is whether or not there is a supported HP upgrade path to 2003 Etnerprise Edition. If not, then my second question would be whether we can simply remove the MS Server Appliance Kit and upgrade the box to 2003, without affecting any of the HP software.
Has anybody got any experience with this?
Thanks
Chris
