Ok, got a good question here. I want to do the following:
1.) Add new HD in machine. Upgrading from original 60GB to 120GB drive.
2.) Install Red Hat 9.0 on the new drive, old drive has like Red Hat 8.2 on it.
3.) Boot new drive, install old drive as slave and copy the data over to the new drive.
Problem is, when you boot with the new drive as the master and the old drive as slave, Red Hat can see the old drive as a boot drive and loads it up as Read-Only.
Anyone have any tips?
