Upgrading G650 Gateway to Latest release of Avaya CM ?

Hi all

Our customer want to upgrade CM System release 3.1 with G650 Gateways, for the CM Server I already have the procedure, but how about the G650 Gateways ?

Do we need to upgrade also IPSI, CLAN, MEDPRO...cards and the IP Phones ?

The G650 is an unintelligent box , the ipsi(talks to the server makes the gateway intelligent) , clan(phones register) ,and med pro (speech), are the cards that make the thing work and yes you will need to upgrade , check on the avaya support site for the firmware matrix to ensure you upgrade to the correct version.The phones will also need the correct firmware version use the utility server function to facilitate this.

Does the Server Utility supported on CM Duplex template or ESS ?

Utility server installs on system platform so it is up to you what you put it on , but you could have it on both if required
