upgrading from windows 98 to windows98 SE using a full version cd

I am currently running windows 98, would like to upgrade to windows 98SE using a full version cd. Any ideas would be appreciated.
 
You'll have to do a reformat and clean install with the full version. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing....." [idea]
 
nobrain's probably right - just wonder if the old trick of renaming win.com to something else & then installing SE on top of FE would work (obviously back up first).
 
I've never tried myself, but I could have sworn that I saw another post where someone was able to use the full version Win98SE cd to upgrade from Win98FE.

Even if you can, it's probably not a bad idea to start from a "clean install" instead.
