upgrading from version 3.61n to 4.3

HOw much trouble is it to upgrade from version 3.61 to 4.3?
What does it entail? We have CD's for versions 4.05,4.2 and 4.3.

Some have said you can go right from 3.61 to 4.30. Others say you need to go from 3.61 to 3.71 then to 4.30.

IMHO you need a trained consultant to go to v4.30 from v3.61. There are a number of issues that you might not be aware of or how to fix. My suggestion would be to work closely with your reseller.
