We have upgraded from SEF 6.5 to SEF 7.0.4 and now access to a database server is not functioning properly. Our rule uses the all* and we do have the sqlnet proxy enabled. When attempting to access the database we get the error messages below. We can get around this by modifying the tnsnames.ora file on each of the clients to include the ip address of the firewall, source_route=yes and change the service name to the SID. Why are these changes required under 7.0.4? Any ideas?

Thanks
Sue
