Hi!

Does anyone have input on upgrading to newer version of Networker? We have verion 5.5 Build38. What do you experts recomend? Is there anyting I have to think aboute?

We are running networker on NT4.

I´m kind of new of Networker :)

We're on an HP-UX platform, and have upgraded two systems to 6.0.2 and 6.1. I've been told no matter what your OS is, upgrade to at least version 6.0.1. Version 6.0 has major problems. 6.1 has some helpful features if you're using SANS or use a jukebox need to share free tape drives among different SANS etc., No need to direct attach drives. Your indexes will be converted with any 6.x upgrade. Make sure there's no integrity problems with the indexes before converting. Our OS converted 9GB of indexes in about 2.5 hours.
