Hi,
I have the need to use subqueries to extract specific data from my tables and it seems that the easiest way to do this is to upgrade to ver 4.1 .. What I would like to know is if I d/load the newer version and install it

a: do I have to remove the old ver??
b: will I lose any of my current db's??
c: will I have to change anything in my scripts?
d: is it risky?
e: is it really worth it??

(I know there are ways to get around subqueries by using table joins but this isn't always appropiate)

Could anyone share some thoughts/advice on this topic please....

Thanks..

I have a few queries which I would have liked to use subqueries on but instead had to use Table joins..

I know there's nothing wrong with table joins but I'm more accustomed to using subqueries.

Thanks for the general advice thou....an upgrade will be more hassel than it's worth...

Cheers..
