Upgrading from MFXP FR3 --> MFPS30

We are in the porcess of going from MFXP to MFPS30. Has anyone run into any trouble. What types of Licenses did you need to upgrade? Thanks.

How did the upgrade go? We're looking to do the upgrade over the next few months. Any place to go to get info on what you should/(n't) do?

Not sure. Never did it. Seemed like a hastle with the license server and what not.

Is a piece of cake. Not.

Plan it right.

Here is what I would advise

1) buy a new box
2) install ps on this
3) install apps
4) get users on to that
5) blow away old box and reinstall

holds good for however many servers you got

Do those steps involve putting the new(er) servers in the same farm, or a new farm?

I would be putting them in a new farm with the same name. Yes it can be done.
