Hi,
All of my forms are currently in forms 6. My current database is oracle 9i. I have available forms 9 to upgrade my forms. I just found out we will be going on to 10g in November (database and forms). Should I go ahead and crank through my forms to 9 or wait until version 10 is available? Any quirks between the versions?
Thanks
Melinda

There is very little difference between 9i and 10g forms. 9i is version 9.0.2 where 10g is 9.0.4.

Go ahead and upgrade to 9 so you are ahead of the game for the 10g implementation.

There aren't that many differences from 6i, but you will find that reports are handled differently within forms now. Any forms using run_product to run reports will need to be recoded.

Im about to go through a similar upgrade. Im currently using 6i forms and reports and running through a 9i applicatin server. We are in the process of installing 10g (9.0.4 application server) Im confused by all the 10g and 9.0.4 etc. What oracle developer product do i need to download to replace the 6i developer that i currently use to create my forms and reports?

thanks
