Upgrading from CS3 to CS5: is my CPU up to the job?

Hi there,

I need to upgrade my Adobe InDesign CS3 to CS5, and am now looking into the options.

My laptop, Dell Latitude D620, runs Intel Core 2 (2.00GHz), is an XP Pro (Service Pack 3) with 3GB RAM.

Do you think this will be sufficent to run the upgraded software well, or would I need to buy a new laptop for a decent performance?

That falls within the minimum system requirements.

If you are really in need of performance, you would want a desktop.
