Upgrading from CatOS to IOS on 6509 issue

We currently have a 6509 that runs off cat6000-sup720k8.8-1-3.bin. we have already added the new IOS image (s72033-pk9sv-mz.122-18.SXD7b.bin) to the flash dir. is there a CatOS command that will make it so the next reload will take the new image? i know on an IOS its as easy as saying boot system flash:--- . is there a CatOS equiv? if not it looks as though ill have to enter ROMMON to boot it manually.

Its not as easy as you are trying to make it , the conversion involves a lot of steps that must be followed exactly and it is not just as simple as adding a boot statement to make it boot from a new image. Follow the directions here for your device.

Also, SXD code is old.. I would look at 12.2.18SXF for stability or potentially 12.2.33SXH for newer features..
