Upgrading from Backup Exec 8.5 to 8.6

I am upgrading the Backup Exec on our main file server this weekend. A person I have spoken to has told me that he has heard there is an important yet misleading step that must not be overlooked when doing this upgrade. He was not sure of what it was but read about it a while back.

I looked this up and have not found anything significant. I know this is a very vague question but I am curious if anybody on here might know what he was referring to?

If you have any Remote Agents or Open File Option installed on the remote servers, uninstall each of these options.
Go to the add/remove programs and remove the remote agent and open file option and reboot. Then you can re-push the options from the new version.
