I am upgrading a BCM 1000 2.5 to a 4.0.Can I just replace the harddrive and go, or do i need to do an upgrade to the unit?

Thanks for any help.

2.5 to 3.0 to 3.5 to 3.7 to 4.0

you need to do all the upgrades to upgrade the NT portion.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
