I have a resilient site setup and running on 9.0 right now. I have been planning on doing an upgrade but am just not getting around to it. When I upgrade, do I just choose the syncronize using OPS manager button when I first log in? Is this about the only thing that needs to be done? Once we are on 10.0, I thought Ops mgr cannot be used, is that correct?

Upgrading from 9.0 to 10.0 with Ent Mgr/Ops Mgr

There are now 2 modes of Sync'ing your system with rel 10 (MCD4.0)
OPS and RDN are mutually exclusive.
If you choose the OPS method, your system will operate as before.
If you choose the RDN method, OPS will no longer be able to modify set programming. (Changing to the RDN method is not reversible and not advisable if you already have OPS)

Occam's Razor - All things being equal, the simplest solution is the right one.
You can keep OpsMan syncing while using 4.0. However, when yo go to 4.1 you must change to CDD (Common Data Distribution) which uses SDS & RDN. It's up to you when to make the change to CDD. OpsMan is not supported in 4.1 except for a few utilities.
