It's been a few years since I inserted records into ACCPAC tables from another program. A couple of questions. What happend to the ARGLLK and the APGLLK tables? Were they replaced by the ARDIST and APDIST tables in the newer versions? I need to insert AR and AP records into the ACCPAC tables. Does anyone have a list of tables (and/or fileds) that must be updated when inserting AR and AP records? Any guidance would be most appreciated.

Are you working on Plus or the Windows product line?

I think he is using Pro Series, those tables do not sound familiar with either Plus or Advantage Series.
 
Thanks for your repsonse. I am using the windows PRO73B with the SQL interface. I am starting to track down the files I need to change, but it would be nice if I could confirm my findings.

What are you trying to accomplish?
The XXdist are the current period records that upon GL release get transfered to the GL module.
These records contain Debits/Credits to be posted to the GL accounts coming from the corresponding modules (AR, AP, IC).
Care should be taken when adding records,it may disturb integrity/balances in those modules.
You may better off entering manually into GL. I am not very familiar with the GL Module.

I am updating an old app (non ACCPAC) that currently inserts AR and AP records and also updates the Customer, Vendor and System files, etc. I think I have tracked down all of the files I need to update in the new version, but was just wondering if someone had a list of tables and fields that need to be updated when doing these types of actions just in case I have missed something.
