Upgrading from 5.5 1

I'm upgrading from exchange 5.5 to 2000 can any one give me any information on known problems , problems they have encountered or any tips?

Remove the IMS from the Exchange 5.5. It will later cause headaches if you don't. Setup the Exchange 2000 connectors

Be sure you hAve installed SP3 before setting UP ADC. Be sure to run forestprep and domainprep before setting up E2K.

Can I not upgrade the current OWA 5.5 to be used with Exchange 2000 in future?
the OWA is installed as a component on another server, not the current Exchange 5.5 server.

When you install Exchange 2000, it also installs OWA.

Sorry, let me rephrase my question....
Can I remain my OWA 5.5 server to work with my Exchange 2000 server(backend)?

Current config is OWA 5.5 is installed as a separate server
than the Exchange 5.5 server.

I'm aware that the Exchange 2000 will install OWA as well, but I don't wish to upgrade to OWA 2000 by installing Exchange server on that OWA server because it requires a Enterprise Edition.
