Can anyone offer any suggestions to me that will allow me to find a way to upgrade my NT 4.0 to 2000, because right now I get a not enough disk space error when I try to upgrade. The partition that 4.0 is on is only 1 Gig and I do not seem to be able to free enough space for the upgrade. I would like to maintain all the current settings and programs and not have to rebuild the whole server. Is there a way to back up 4.0 and restore it to a disk with a larger partition? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Doug

Ghost or Drive Image?

If partition is on drive where there is more space, Acronis Partition Expert resizes partitions and works with NT server.

What do you have for a HD config? Are you using Raid or just a single Disk? If you are just Using a single disk, then buy a larger Harddrive and use Norton Ghost or Linux's dd to copy the data to larger partitions and then upgrade.
