I am using a Visual C++6 compiler. whenever I run any of the programs I have made, it first displays the message:

"NOTE: The terms of the end user license agreement for visual c++ introductory edition do not permit redistribution of executables you create with this product."

Does anybody know how to upgrade from intro. edition to some other edition that does not display this message? Robert Carpenter

Hi there,

I have the same version that you do. If you buy any other version of Visual C++ (Standard, Professional, Enterprise), you won't get that message. You can't upgrade from the Introductory Edition, since it's only meant as a demo version of Visual C++. If I were you, I would just get the Standard Edition. I'm getting mine this Christmas (hopefully).

* Sigh *

thats what I figured. :-(

problem is, that one wasn't on the clearance rack! Robert Carpenter
