I have a P690 with the latest and greatest combined system/platform/SCSN firmware, but with LPARS on AIX 5.1.

The 7040-61R HMC is on 3.26 (!).

I am tasked with a upgrade the LPAR OS's to 5.3 TL 6, but before I do so I am seeking to upgrade the HMC to 3.3.7, with an initial upgrade to 3.3.5.

Has anyone encountered any gotchas in pursuing/contemplating such a path?
