I need to upgrade an R8 MXE to latest 9.0.2.31 whilst also upgrading the cluster size.

Covered?:-

Upgrade system/restore/synch amc

Then

Data save.
Change cluster size to 250 in License and Options.
Data restore.

Will I need to change the cluster size in the AMC?

Thanks

You can change the cluster size when you do the upgrade. Use the Software Installer tool, select the option to modify the license/options, and select the new cluster size. You don't need to change anything on the AMC record to do this.

In fact, when using the SI tool, *always* select the option for modifying the icense/options. I've run into problems several times with the upgrade not preserving the licensing across the partitions, this way you're always re-writing the license to the new release's partition.

Your a star, thanks.

Just leaving my house to some nodes now!

I will let you know how I get on.
